Biotic⁺ gets to work within the first 24-48 hours. And in your first couple of weeks, you may feel some effects as your gut gets used to these new bacterial strains in your system.

This is normal and considered an adjustment period. It indicates that the strains are active and adapting to your gastrointestinal tract. With daily use, this adjustment period will subside in your first month.

We recommend trying Biotic⁺ for at least 3 months for optimal impact. That’s the advice from the British Society of Gastroenterology to anyone trying a new bacterial product too. However, many individuals do feel positive changes to their microbiome sooner.

What should I do if I experience discomfort?

Sophie, our Head of Nutritional Research, advises the following if you feel any initial discomfort:

  1. Start Slow: Consider starting with a half dose. You can easily open the capsule and take half for the first week or so by mixing it in with food or juice, e.g. yoghurt or a smoothie. This reduces the amount of good bacteria introduced to your system initially, potentially easing side effects.

  2. Gradual Increase: After a few days, if you feel comfortable, gradually increase to the full dosage.

  3. Skip if Necessary: Your comfort is our priority. If you need to take a break or have a bit of a build up due to half doses, just log in to your account and delay or skip your next order!

Remember, these mild reactions are often a sign of your body's natural adaptation process. If you have any concerns or questions, our team is here to support you on support@yourheights.com
